On February 17th at 16:00 (CET), the “CLASH! When classic and contemporary dance collide and new forms emerge” project will wrap up with the final conference “The CLASH! project: conclusions as a starting point”, transmited on http://www.clashproject.eu and at @clashprojecteu with the participation of the six partners involved in the project co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union:
Balletto di Roma (IT)
Sapienza University (IT)
Derida Dance Center / Art link Foundation (BG)
Polish Dance Theatre (PL)
420PEOPLE (CZ)
Companhia de Dança de Almada (PT)
Like the CLASH! International Festival, the conference will once again make the “virtual meeting” between different countries and European partners possible. The meaning of the project for all partnering organizations will be articulated through dialogue and Q&A sessions that will bring them even closer by sharing their experience.
The event will give the opportunity to sneak a peek into difficulties, challenges and highlights of the project as well as open a discussion about the future that the CLASH! Project will bring.
Dancer's training processes will be addressed, focusing on the new paths and challenges for tomorrow's professionals.
Furthermore, there will be a place for reflection on the ways in which the pandemic affected overall process and the audience development activities in particular, with a deeper look into the process of shifting between the “live“ and the “digital” in terms of ways of coping, that would deploy into pointing out what should be recognized as a “keeper” for the future.
Finally, the conference will tackle the strengths and weaknesses met during the realization of the project revealing the future challenges as a part of the management and communication activities.
