From the 23rd of September to the 17th of October, the cultural venues and spaces in Almada will host Quinzena de Dança de Almada - International Dance Festival, which programme also extends to Instituto Cervantes in Lisbon.
In a year of strong investment in the artistic creation of national choreographers and companies, and an expressive partnership with Mostra Espanha 2021, the event's programme maintains, however, its international dimension. From the performances to the International Platform for Choreographers' programmes, but especially in the different videodance sessions, it will be possible to see contemporary dance from countries such as Hungary, Italy, France, Netherlands, Brazil, Greece, Israel, Belgium, Germany, United States, Malaysia, China, Mexico, Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Austria, Ecuador or Armenia.
In between performances, videos and films, workshops, roundtables and informal talks with creators, there are many reasons to attend the 29th edition of Quinzena de Dança de Almada.
The festival's programme, as well as information about dates, places and ticketing methods are available online at http://quinzenadedancadealmada.cdanca-almada.pt/.
The event can be followed on Facebook and Instagram, at https://www.instagram.com/quinzenadedancadealmada/ and http://www.facebook.com/companhiadedancadealmada.
