This year, the school of the company, Ca.DA Escola, chose to collaborate with Refood Almada, in a campaign to collect food for Christmas baskets for families supported by this nucleus, many on the waiting list.

The food asked to be donated must be delivered to Ca.DA Escola, from December 2nd to 17th (extended until December 20th). For this, there will be a box properly identified near the school office, where the following goods can be left: olive oil, vinegar, oil, spaghetti, pasta, rice, milk, cereals, crackers, flour, salt, sugar, grain, beans or canned goods.

The Refood Almada is part of the REFOOD movement, a 100% voluntary project. It is an private institution of social solidarity to combat food waste and, at the same time, hunger, which provides support to other institutions in the municipality of Almada when food surpluses allow it, thus carrying out work to support the local community. It has a space at Rua Isabel Veiga, 29 - Feijó, where it delivers complete meals to families enrolled in this nucleus.
