On December 7th, Companhia de Dança de Almada presents the duet "Amebas Traidoras" (Traitorous Amoebas), by Luís Malaquias, at Jerusalem International Dance Week.
The work was selected from the International Platform for Choreographers of the 29th Quinzena de Dança de Almada, by the director of the Machol Shalem Dance House cultural center, Ofra Idel, one of the programmers present in Portugal in 2021.
"Amebas Traidoras" will represent Portugal at the event, alongside with "Matiik", by the choreographers Catarina Casqueiro & Tiago Coelho, work selected in the 28th edition of Quinzena de Dança de Almada, in 2020, but whose presentation was postponed due to circulation restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
