Almada Dance Company's repertoire of productions is the result of collaborations with both national and foreign choreographers which, from the beginning have represented different trends in contemporary dance. To date, these have resulted in more than a hundred productions by different authors.
Each season usually comprises a completely new program from invited choreographers with international experience; a program of new Portuguese choreographers, resulting from projects supported and produced by the Company as a way of stimulating and developing new career paths; and since 1993, a show specially designed for a younger audience.
Over the years, Companhia de Dança de Almada has presented hundreds of shows which have been seen by thousands of people, both in Portugal and abroad.
