Choreography by Bruno Duarte | Direction by Marta Romero
Performance + screendance premiered on December 12th, 2020, on-line at CLASH! International Festival
Noir | performance
"Noir" is inspired by film noir from the 40s and 50s, and on a conceptual basis related to the traditional game "cluedo", set on a climate of suspense in which falsehood and suspicion are the main impetus for action. The piece was created from a series of premises designed by the different partners of the Clash! project, and inspired by the clashes between the individual and the group which is, in itself, made up of confronting entities.

Noir | screendance
Film noir is a term coined by French critics to describe a type of cinema, mostly black and white, full of shadows and suspense.
Adopting the same aesthetics and ambience, in contrast to an admittedly contemporary soundtrack and movement, "Noir" was created for the Clash! Project from a series of premises designed by the different partners and which inspired a work in which the individual clashes with the group that is itself constituted by confronting entities. In this organized chaos, it is difficult to find who to point the finger at.
