O Fio autoras CaDA 2020

Dramaturgy by Ana Lázaro | Choreography by Inês Pedruco
Premiere date to be announced

"O Fio" (The Thread) talks about the relationship between people: about the threads that connect us and that allow us to feel close to each other. The way certain threads guide us, free us or make us feel safe, but also tie us up, get tangled up and hard to tell apart.
In a show created from the language of children and focusing on childhood thinking, we’ll explore the idea of distance: physical and metaphorical, playing with and exploring the emotions associated with human connections, achieving autonomy, family and affective relationships, and the feeling of loneliness. This is a space in which we build a history but also look to raise questions, ideas and impulses. A space in which we try to listen to the voice of children and young people and research their perceptions about their own ability to generate threads.
