In the spaces of the José Saramago Municipal Library, in Feijó (Almada), on October 15th, Ca.DA presents a program inserted in the celebrations of the centenary of the birth of José Saramago, Nobel Prize in Literature in 1998.
"Dançar Saramago" is a project curated and produced by Companhia de Dança de Almada, which aims to support young artists committed to choreographic creation. The idea came from a proposal by the Municipal Library Network of Almada, was accepted by the direction of Ca.DA and materialized by the young artists Raquel Tavares, Mariana Dias and Beatriz Lourenço.
The choreographers present three pieces inspired by José Saramago's works: “Antonius Adalfuns”, by Raquel Tavares, inspired by a text from “O Homem Duplicado”; “Jornada cohabitada”, by Mariana Dias, based on the work “As Pequenas Memórias”; and “Solo Quase”, by Beatriz Lourenço, about “Objeto Quase”.
