On the 20th of November, “Abrigo” premieres, a community performance conceived by the artistic collective EmbalArte, with the support of the Companhia de Dança de Almada.
In 2022, the artistic duo Ângela Ribeiro and Susana Rosendo set out to carry out a work with and for a different audience than their usual, the group of seniors from the Companhia de Dança de Almada school, which was also joined by four young students from Ca.DA Escola.
The idea resulted in a project of “community dance and theater that wants to bring people together in the same space to share the same time. Mature people, new people, just people. People of all shapes and sizes.”, as the authors declare.
The premiere will take place at the Mostra de Teatro de Almada (Almada Theater Show), on November 20, at 11 am and 4 pm, at the Auditório Fernando Lopes-Graça, in Almada.
