Nos próximos dias 4 e 5 de abril a Ca.DA Escola apresenta, em Almada, as coreografias que levará ao 4.º ADAGIO - Encontro Internacional de Dança, em Ourém, com a participação especial, dia 5, da parceira Escola de Dança NEXT.

In the 2024 participation, our school's students won an award for best choreography of the year and several first, second and third places, for a total of 14 awards, in addition to several scholarships for summer courses.

“Ymir” (in the photograph), created by professor Bruno Duarte and performed by the 4th and 5th grades of Specialized Artistic Education in the 2023/24 school year, was the doubly distinguished work, with the ADAGIO 2024 best choreography award and 1st place in the pre-professional contemporary large group category - junior.

ADAGIO is an international meeting aimed at promoting dance. It aims to bring together dance students and teachers in an atmosphere of sharing and commitment. It has a competition that is divided into two categories: Amateur - Young dancers who practise up to five hours a week of dance; and Pre-professional - Young dancers who practise six or more hours a week of dance.

In 2025 the meeting will take place as usual in the city of Ourém, between 12 and 15 April.
